Many fire departments do not have the funding to operate a hazmat team, DLS provides support to many fire departments and county Emergency Service Districts and police departments in the East Texas area free of charge. All of DLS employees are trained at the 40-hour hazwoper level as per the Code of Federal Regulations 1910.120. We also have trained hazmat specialist and incident commanders along with certified fire fighters, paramedics and EMT'S. We work under the Incident Command System when arriving on your location. We can provide technical support to you or provide you with the equipment to stabilize your incident. I
